Remove my data
You can delete your Baakee account and everything you entered. Here is how, and what happens to your information.
In the app (fastest)
- Open Baakee and go to Settings.
- Choose Security & Privacy, then Delete account.
- Confirm twice. This is deliberate, so it cannot happen by mistake.
Your account is deleted straight away.
If you cannot use the app
Lost your phone, or can no longer sign in? Email us from any address and we will help.
Include your Baakee ID. If you do not know it, tell us anything that helps us find your account, such as your name as it appears in Baakee.
Never send your Recovery Key or PIN. We will never ask for them.

What happens to your data
- Your name, Baakee ID, sign-in and everything you typed are erased.
- Your Recovery Key stops working, and every device is signed out.
- Amounts and dates in shared Spaces stay for the other members, shown as “Former member”, with nothing that identifies you.
- Backup copies are replaced on their normal schedule.
- If you own a shared Space with other people in it, hand it over to another member first, or close it.
